Sunday, October 9, 2011 At around 14:30 Company 3 was dispatched to Grand Valley Rd. near Wirth Rd. for a reported tractor trailer roll over. Arriving crews found a milk truck into the embankment with entrapment. Company 3 performed the extrication, and set up the LZ and operations for Life Flight. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 At 04:10 Company 3 was dispatched to The Old Turnpike Restaurant for a reported building fire. Responding crews found a gas leak with a small amount of fire. Chief 304 turned of the gas to the building and the fire was extinguished with a water can. Company 3 was on scene for fifty minutes and was available at 05:05. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 At 02:14 Company 3 was dispatched to Johnson Mill Rd. across from the Elementary School for a reported well involved shed fire endangering a structure. Chief 303 arrived on scene and immediately held the box to engine 3-2 and tanker 3-1. The engine crew was assigned to pull one hand line and take it to the rear of the house. Company 3 was placed in service shortly there after. Monday, August 22, 2011 5:55 At 18:25 Company 3 was dispatched to the rear of the Family Dollar for an electrical fire. Chief 304 arrived on scene and found a fire in a large dumpster. The box was held to Engine 3-2, and was shortly there after placed in service.
Monday, August 22, 2011 At 14: 05 Company 3 was dispatched to the area of Canada Dr. and Red Ridge Rd. for an outside smoke investigation. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 18:53, Company 3 was dispatched to Sportsman’s Club Rd. near the entrance of the Sportsman’s Club for a reported auto accident, with reports of one car, with injuries. Chief 303 arrived on scene and found both victims ejected one confirmed signal 50 (DOA). The other patient was said to need aero medical services, and was flown to Geisinger Medical Center via Life Flight 1. Engine 3-1 crew was returned and available at 20:05. Saturday, August 13, 2011 At 10:12 Company 3 was dispatched for a reported auto accident on Old Turnpike Rd. in the area of Hickernel Spring, with reports of one vehicle with unknown injuries. Harelton P.D. arrived on the scene and reported no injuries and one car off of the road. Chief 304 placed the box in service and company 3 was available at 10:19. Saturday, August 6, 2011 At 05:59 Company 3 was dispatched to an address on Johnson Mill Rd. for a reported auto accident, with initial reports of one car into a pole with possible roll over. Units found one car into the pole and one patient. Units assisted with EMS and traffic control. Units were on scene for approximately 45-50 minutes and were available at 06:48. Saturday, July 30, 2011 At 09:05 Company 3 was dispatched to an address on Indian Ridge Rd. for a reported fall victim from a tree. MICU 14 arrived on scene and felt the need for aeromedical transport of the patient. Company 3 assisted EMS and set up LZ operations for Geisinger's Life Flight 4.
