Reported House Fire on Market St.

Monday, February 7, 2011  At around 11:00 Company 3 was dispatched to an address in the borough on Market St. for a reported house fire. Chief 303 arrived on scene and held the box to engine 3-2 due to the fact that the fire had been extinguished by the home owner. Engine 3-2 Crew performed overhaul and ventilation, and was placed in service shortly after.

MVA on Buffalo Rd.

Saturday, February 5, 2011  At 20:29 Company 3 was dispatched to an area on Buffalo Rd. for an auto accident with reports of one car on its roof. Company 3 arrived on scene and found one vehicle on its side with the patient out of the vehicle. Company 3 was available at  20:44.

MVA on Rt. 235 south of Glen Iron

Friday, January 28, 2011  At 09:02 Company 3 was dispatched to Route 235 just south of Glen Iron for an auto accident. Company 3 arrived on scene and found one (1) vehicle off the roadway with utility poles down and negative entrapment. Company 3 assisted with Ems and traffic control and was available at 09:36.

Chimney fire on Dice Rd.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011  At 16:25 Company 3 was dispatched to an address on Dice Rd. for a chimney fire. Chief 303 arrived on scene and found a confirmed chimney fire with high heat in the walls. Engine 3-2 crew was assigned to the roof. Truck crew pulled one 2” hand line from Eng. 3-2 and sent a PW to the attic. Men from both crews work on emptying both of 2 fire boxes while the crew on the roof dropped dry bombs and weights. Company 3 was on scene for approximately 1.5 hours, and was available at 17:50

CO Investigation

Wednesday, January 26, 2011  At 15:42 Company was dispatched to an address on Hanselman Rd. for and CO detector activation. Rescue 3-1 arrived on scene and investigated with the gas meter. Nothing was found and Company 3 was in service at 13:58.

Odor investigation in East Buffalo Twp.

Saturday, January 22, 2011  At 10:28 Company 3 was dispatched to an address in East Buffalo Twp. for an odor of something burning in a structure. Chief 303 arrived on scene and found conditions to be normal. Eng. 3-2 crew used the thermal imager to check the temperatures of all walls and possible sources where something could be burning. All conditions were found to be normal. Company 3 was available at 11:18.

MVA just west of the Forest Hill Store

Thursday, January 20, 2011  At 14:28 Company 3 was dispatched to State Route 192 just west of the Forest Hill Store for an auto accident with reports of one (1) car with unknown injuries. Chief 303 arrived on scene and found one vehicle on its side with the occupant out of the vehicle. 303 held the box to MICU 14 and Rescue 3-1. Rescue 3-1 crew controlled fluids, performed a battery disconnect, and stabilized the vehicle. Company 3 was available at 15:05.

Monday, January 17, 2011    At 18:05 Company 3 was dispatched to an address in East Buffalo Twp. where the exact location was unkown for an unknown type fire. Chief 303 and 304 arrived on scene as well as engine 3-2 and confirmed that the fire was a controlled burn.
